Introduction

Hamro Bikas Bank is a citizen focused Development Bank located in Bidur Nuwakot. The Bank is promoted by multiprofessional and multicultural group of Nepali citizens. Hamro Bikas Bank is 'B' Grade development bank in Nepal with total assets more than 175 Crore at Ashadh end, 2074 and Net Profit of Rs. 4.36 Crore for the end period. The Bank has a network of six branches and one extension counter is serving more than 50,000 customers. Its head quarter is located in Battar-3, Nuwakot, 65KM far from Kathmandu. 

It was incorporated with Nepal Rastra Bank and established in 2009 at Battar, Bidur of Municipality of Nuwakot. HBBL serves the financial needs of citizens, particularly in marginal areas. Though very young, it has won the mind and heart of the people in

Hamro Bikas Bank offers a wide range of banking products and financial services to corporate and retail customers through its branches. The Bank currently has four branches & one extension counter namely Battar, Trisuli, Chhahare, Ratmate, Ranipauwa & Samundratar Branch and Samari Extension Counter. All branches and extension counter are within the geographical boundaries of Nuwakot District. 

The bank is having policy of collecting the money from local people and lending the same to local people. 

This is derived from the philosophy that local community have first right to use resources collected from the local arena. The Bank is having policy to hire employee from local community to the extent possible.
